What does a CrossFit class look like at CrossFit Ridge City?

Before each training session, our certified coaches lead a comprehensive workout brief. This is where you get all the details you need to succeed: a clear breakdown of each movement, the workout format, and what to expect. Coaches also provide multiple scaled versions and modifications for every exercise, so you'll always have a safe and effective option that matches your current fitness level.

Following the warm-up, every one of our classes includes a dedicated strength or skill development component. This focused segment is designed to help you build functional body strength, master new movements, and improve your overall movement proficiency through specific drills.7

A general warm-up is a non-negotiable part of our training. In every session our coaches prioritize more than just getting your heart rate up. We use this crucial time to focus on developing fundamental human movement patterns while preparing your body to move safely and effectively, helping to prevent injury.

The Workout of the Day (WOD) is the heart of our program. This constantly varied workout is designed to challenge you daily and help you achieve your fitness goals. Every WOD incorporates a powerful mix of:

  • High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

  • Strength Training

  • Varied workouts to keep you engaged

  • Daily challenges to push your limits
